Boycott British Petroleum
Ever since I 475 has been closed I've been using Dort highway and Saginaw to get to downtown Flint, and I've been noticing peculiar things running about town. Over in upscaled Grand Blanc people continue to frequent BP gas stations, and I see three to four cars fueling up every time I pass by. While on the other side of town, in Flint and Burton, it;s virtually desserted. I am truly proud of those who are true Americans and boycott BP.

Knight And Day official trailer 2 HD Tom Cruise Cameron Diaz ( vostfr ) ...
After a tough week, trying to get my posts and especially my essays complete, I thought I should reward myself by going to the movies for a couple of hours. Yes, yet again I faced the summer's conundrum by not having worthy films to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing an animated film, but I have to think of my husband, and he doesn't have the patience to sit down through a regular movie, so it's a compromise.
I believe that we all have past lives and some of those past lives have been animals. That's why there are cat people and dog people. I think my hubby thinks he was a dog in a past life, and he may have been, but the most recent animal he may have been was a shark. He finds it very difficult to relax. It's not like he has ADD, but he always has to be moving and accomplishing something.I'm not saying it's a bad thing, because I'm kind of the same way.
However, last night we went to see Knight and "Day" with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise.
It was entertaining to see Cruise in a oddball comedy action adventure film not taking himself so seriously.
The movie we saw last week,"Killers" was very similar to this flick, and both films had very familiar elements to "Mr.and Mrs. Smith." Roy Miller(Cruise) is a characterized as a rogue agent, sound familiar, who is protecting this young genius who has designed a battery that never dies or has to be recharged. He encounters June(Diaz) and uses her as a "mule" to smuggle the battery through the airports.
It's an action flick that resembles the "Bourne Identity" films. I would also have say it parodied those types of movies. The scenes changed so often that I felt like I was on a carousel and there was always plenty of gun battles, but miraculously never any blood. (To tell the truth, I didn't miss it.)
All in all it was okay, but I'd wait until it comes out on TNT.
I thought I'd add a bit of a twist to the clip, it has French subtitles. Vive la France!
